Where we are - Val di Noto

We are located in a historical building in Noto, symbol of the Baroque architecture characteristic of this city. The palazzo stands out for the plethora of eighteenth century masterpieces, for its location just steps from the cathedral and for its picturesque views of the Noto Valley, which became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2002.

It is hard to express in just a few words what lead us to create this hide-away. Our desire was to find an ancient building to restore back to life, with the aim of creating a rejuvenating holiday resort for friends, guests, as well as for ourselves.

The Sud Est and its wonders

The hotel is located within easy reach of both the seaside and the inland, allowing guests to benefit from nature, archaeology and history of the area with excursions to Syracuse, Modica and Ragusa, including the locale of famous fictional stories involving character and chief of police Montalbano. Within a ten-minute drive, guests can reach the Vendicari marine reserve, surrounded by its maritime villages and farmhouses and can taste first hand the elements that make the famous ‘dolce vita’.

Within driving distance is also the promontory of Capopassero, set on the very last strip of Sicily and on the same latitude as Tangier and Tunis.
